Anishka Pickstock-Turner

Anishka Pickstock – Turner is a Bahamian American advocate presently residing in the DC Metro Area.  She has received an Associates of Applied Science (AAS) in Business Technology and a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) in Computer Information System Science from the University of the District of Columbia.  As a certified Entrepreneur, she has also received a dual Masters of Arts (M.A.) degrees in Human Resource Development and Leadership and Management.  She is a wife, mom, entrepreneur and the founder of both Turning Pages, LLC, which is a literacy initiative that aides in assisting school-aged children cultivate and develop a love and passion for reading, therefore, resulting in an “assault” on literacy, in addition to implementing and starting Treasures of Aeon, which is a nonprofit company dedicated to empowering, servicing, educating, and assisting those impacted, as well as their loved ones, with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to have a better quality of life.  To date, she has raised and donated over 1.4K books to the Huntley P. Christie School, Clara E. Evans Primary School, both on the island of North Andros, Bahamas and to the Pi Xi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., in Nassau, Bahamas. Mrs. Pickstock – Turner has also donated over $1K, to those affected by Hurricane Irma in both the islands of North Andros and Grand Bahama, Bahamas. Mrs. Pickstock- Turner firmly believes that your blessings are not what you have but what you can give.
